Using benchmark for strategic development
All participants have the chance to purchase an evaluation of their own evaluation documents after the competition. This includes detailed, multi-page feedback and anonymized benchmarking (45 pages), which includes market information on goals, project and selection reasons from our database of over 1800 ERP projects. This in-depth insight into the reasons for system selection allows you to further develop your ERP system based on actual data from customers.

Highlights
The final round took placewithin the framework of a Digital Pitch on 05.09.2022, which could be followed by spectators via livestream Here, the finalists had to convince with their presentations and face the questions of a renowned, independent jury of consultants, scientists and media representatives. A special feature this year was the special focus on customer benefits. On 07.09.2022, the best ERP providers were selected at a festive award ceremony at the Zentrum Industrie 4.0 in Potsdam. About the Award
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and digitalisation belong together, so the integration of ERP software is a powerful enabler of digital transformation.
The “ERP System of the Year” award stands for intelligent solutions of the future and rewards outstanding achievements of medium-sized software providers in the ERP environment. The award recognises industry-appropriate features, technology and scope of integration, ergonomics, research and development, customer value and customer satisfaction.
The “ERP System of the Year” competition is the oldest and most important ERP award in Europe. With the award from the Center for Enterprise Research, the best ERP providers in 11 categories were selected for the 17th time in 2022. The competition for the System of the Year 2022 was organised by the Center for Enterprise Research at the University of Potsdam in cooperation with the Berlin-based publishing house GITO Verlag.
Research and excellence network
The final winners will be accepted into the ERP System of the Future research and excellence network and invited to the unique Zentrum Industry 4.0 in Potsdam for a ceremonial award presentation. The digital transformation means that ERP providers have to follow markets and discussions even more comprehensively than before, identify trends early on and drive technological progress. In short: always be one step ahead of the competition. All winners of the ERP System of the Year competition become part of our ERP System of the Future research and excellence network. We bring together CEOs, CDOs and other thought leaders to promote technological progress, innovation and networking.
