ERP Congress with exclusive trade fair 2021

Decisions about new ERP systems are expensive and bind the company for many years, so making the right choices is important. A very good combination of market coverage and expert information can help in the selection process. This combination was offered by the ERP Congress organised by the Center for Enterprise Research (CER) with an exclusive trade fair held at Hate Place Frankfurt Airport on 26. & 27 October 2021. For two days visitors had the opportunity to talk to the finalists for the ERP system of the year and to get answers to all questions about ERP and business software. In addition to interesting lectures and the exciting ERP system of the year finale, expert speakers were available for personal exchange.

Cross-industry trade fair

In addition to the ERP Congress and the award ceremony for the ERP systems of the year 2021, the exclusive trade fair also took place

at the same time. The trade fair has become the most important ERPevent in Germany and is getting bigger every year. Only

systems that had already been nominated by an independent jury for the ERP system of the year competition

were presented here. In order to further improve the exhibition experience, a free

ERP workshop was offered as part of the exhibition, where all questions relating to ERP systems and functions were answered on a vendor-neutral or

topic-specific basis. Visiting the exhibition and the ERP workshop were free for visitors. The exclusive

trade fair was organized in 2021 according to the following industry fields:

ERP Checks Digitalisation

As part of the ERP digitization check, participantsreceived brief advice and assistance on questions relating to ERP systems and operational application software. Basic questions were answered here and methodological assistance was offered for questions relating to the topic of ERP systems. The participants` questions could relate to all phases of ERP projects. In the context of ERPprojects, for example, questions of need (Is a new ERP system necessary?), profitability (ROI), the implementation methodology or the design of the process are relevant. Questions relating to the design of the system landscape were also discussed as part of the quick checks. In addition to the ERP systems, specialized additional systems are often in use, which must be taken into account.
