The winners of the competition ERP System of the Year 2022
The “ERP System of the Year” competition is the oldest and most important ERP award in Europe. On September 7, 2022, the best ERP vendors were selected for the 17th time at a festive awards ceremony at the Zentrum Industrie 4.0 in Potsdam. A special feature this year was the special focus on customer benefits.
The final round took place within the framework of a digital pitch on September 5, 2022, which could be followed live by those interested in ERP systems, implementations and innovations. Here, the finalists had to convince with their presentations and face the questions of a renowned, independent jury of consultants, scientists and media representatives, headed by the director of the Center for Enterprise Research (CER) of the University of Potsdam and holder of the Chair of Business Informatics Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Norbert Gronau.

This includes detailed, multi-page feedback and anonymized benchmarking (45 pages), which includes market information on goals, project and selection reasons from our database of over 1800 ERP projects. About the award
The “ERP System of the Year” competition is the oldest and most important ERP award in Europe. With the award from the Center for Enterprise Research, the best ERP providers were chosen for the 17th time in 2022. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and digitalization belong together, so the integration of an ERP software is a powerful enabler of digital transformation.
This year, the competition was held in 11 categories. An independent jury of top digital and industry experts from consulting, journalism and academia selected one overall winner per category. The finalists’ presentations took place on September 5, 2022, as part of a Digital Pitch, which was held in front of a distinguished jury of consultants, academics and media representatives. On Wednesday, September 7, 2022, the winners were selected at a festive awards ceremony at the Zentrum Industrie 4.0 in Potsdam. The competition for the System of the Year 2022 was organized by the Center for Enterprise Research at the University of Potsdam in cooperation with the Berlin-based GITO publishing house.
Award for intelligent solutions of the future
The “ERP System of the Year” award stands for intelligent solutions of the future and honors outstanding achievements of medium-sized software providers in the ERP environment. The award recognizes industry-appropriate functions, technology and scope of integration, ergonomics, research and development, customer benefits and customer satisfaction.
Research and excellence network
The final winners will be accepted into the ERP System of the Future research and excellence network and invited to the unique Industrie 4.0 center in Potsdam, Germany, for a ceremonial award presentation. As a result of the digital transformation, ERP providers must follow markets and discussions even more comprehensively than before, identify trends at an early stage and drive technological progress. In short: stay one step ahead of the competition. All winners of the ERP System of the Year competition become part of our ERP System of the Future research and excellence network.
